The House of Lords has published a briefing on digital skills in the United Kingdom Published, 10 August 2017

The UK House of Lords has released a library briefing on digital skills in advance of a debate that was planned to take place in the House on 7 September 2017.

The briefings covers areas such as managing digital information; communicating and connecting with others; transacting and using digital government services; solving problems using digital tools; and creating basic digital content.

The briefing also highlights the contribution of the digital sector to the UK economy, the publication of the UK Digital Strategy 2017, and recent Ofcom research on digital understanding in the UK.
